About Us

The Autism Puzzle Project is run by Connections, Jigsaw Puzzles for Healing. At Connections Puzzles, we feel there is great power in "putting the pieces together" of a jigsaw puzzle, that reach much further than simply the creation of the puzzle itself. We know that jigsaw puzzles have many proven health benefits and we firmly believe there are benefits on the spiritual level as well. (click here to read an article on the Healing Power of Puzzles)

We started out by creating a line of jigsaw puzzles featuring positive and spiritually inspired art for the purposes of increasing self awareness. We then began participating in fundraising events for Autism using this initial line of jigsaw puzzles, as people were really inspired by the link between the symbol for Autism being the jigsaw puzzle, and using jigsaw puzzles to help "put the pieces together".

We created The Autism Puzzle Projecttm to reach out to artists who are living on the Spectrum, to make that powerful symbol, even more meaningful.

Our mission with The Autism Puzzle Project, is not only to provide beautiful and meaningful jigsaw puzzles and raise funds for the cause of Autism, but what we really want to help do is break down stereotypes and walls created by ignorance and fear. A most difficult thing to handle, when you've got real challenges in your life, is the feeling of being misunderstood and alone. Being supported, instead of left behind, can make all the difference. So let's raise awareness together, and put the pieces together for a better future for us all.
